Peter Osypka Institute for Pacing and Ablation

The Peter Osypka Institute for Pacing and Ablation (POI) was founded in June 2011 following an initiative of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Peter Osypka, the pioneer of radiofrequency catheter ablation. It belongs to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and is conducted by Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil.
